Learn new skills, make friends, attend special events and stay healthy at the Sunnyvale Senior Center. We provide a variety of educational, recreational and health-related services for adults age 50 and up. The Center also offers case management, care planning and referrals to community services for seniors and their families.

Lunch Program: Meals are for adults age 50 and up, subject to availability. You don't need a Senior Center membership. You must make a meal reservation. See menu for details.

Membership

For adults age 50 and up, an annual membership provides free or discounted rates for select Senior Center services and activities.

Membership is REQUIRED to participate in specific activity appointments. It is not required for most classes or programs offered through the Senior Center when they become available.

Become a Member

If you want to become a member or need to renew your prior membership, you must visit the Senior Center in person during front desk hours.

COVID-19 Informed Consent

Prior to your first appointment at the Senior Center, you must visit the front desk and sign an updated Release, Waiver, Hold Harmless & COVID-19 Informed Consent Agreement.

Fitness Room

Day Trips

Join us for fun Day Trips to local attractions. Types of trips include baseball games at AT&T park, trips to museums such as Charles M. Schulz and Lindsay Wildlife, outings to entertainment in San Francisco and elsewhere, seasonal shopping expeditions and more.

Trips are open to anyone age 50 and up. Cost includes transportation and any entry fees.

Care Management Services

Care management helps seniors and their families identify care and service needs. A primary goal is for seniors to maintain their independence and continue to live in their homes. Care managers connect individuals with services to support this goal.

Care Management Program

Who is eligible?
Residents of the City of Sunnyvale age 50 and above are eligible. For homebound seniors care managers schedule home visits.

How does the program work?
Care managers are available by phone. The care manager can help with the following:

Assessment
Care planning
Service arrangements
Monitoring of the client

What is the cost?
Eligible clients receive services at no cost.
