We want to improve the bicycle network in the northern part of the city. To do this we are studying the addition of a Class IV two-way separated bikeway. The bikeway would be on Borregas Avenue between Caspian Drive and Moffett Park Drive. This may impact on-street parking spaces.

On July 29, 2025, City Council selected Design Alternative 1 for Tasman Drive between Fair Oaks Avenue and Vienna Drive. The project will include:
- Removal of one travel lane in each direction
- Install Class I Multi-use path on both sides of the street
The City Council asked the project team to to look into what it would take—and how much it would cost—to upgrade the current temporary eastbound lane closure on Tasman Drive so it meets ADA rules.
Current Status: We are searching for grants to help fund the Design and Construction phases of the project. We will also work through a future budget process to propose a Capital Improvement Project for the City Council to review.
