If your neighborhood is experiencing speeding or traffic cutting through residential streets, then traffic calming measures might be appropriate.

We use a step-by-step process through our Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program (NTCP) to identify effective solutions.

What Is Traffic Calming?

Traffic calming includes signs, road markings, street design changes and public education to:

  • Reduce speeding
  • Stop drivers from cutting through neighborhoods
  • Improve safety for everyone
