Scheduled Street Maintenance

The City performs ongoing preventive street maintenance for 284 miles of City streets throughout the year. The work includes resurfacing the pavement, sealing the surface with chip or slurry seal, or reconstructing the pavement to extend the lifetime of a street. This work requires scheduled closures.

Notification Process

One to two weeks before maintenance work, we will:

  • Hand deliver a flyer about the work to your house.
  • Post "No Parking" signs on the street.

What Do I Need to Know About Street Maintenance?

We will close your street at 7 a.m. on the day of work.

You won't be able to drive on the road during the closure. This includes leaving or returning to your driveway.

All streets will remain closed for four to six hours after treatment. This allows time for the slurry seal to dry.
