During the rainy season we offer free sandbags to the public to protect property in Sunnyvale.

Where: Pick up self-serve sandbags at the Corporation Yard, 221 Commercial Street.
When: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, Nov. 1 to April 1

Sandbag Pickup Details

• You must show a valid ID with Sunnyvale address
• No prior notice needed
• Limit of 10 sandbags per address (additional sandbags offered under special circumstances)
• Filled or unfilled sandbags available
• Sandbags distributed by the City are not for resale
