The Evelyn Avenue Multi-use Trail project will build a Class I shared-use path along the north side of West Evelyn Avenue. It will stretch from South Bernardo Avenue at the Mountain View/Sunnyvale city limit to Mathilda Place in Sunnyvale. This new Class I path will be a fully separated, paved path for both people walking and biking. This new Class I path will be separated from cars and open to people walking, biking, or using other active ways to travel. It will run along this important east-west route
The project will also improve access to nearby bike and pedestrian networks. It will improve connections at Bernardo Avenue, Mary Avenue, Sunset Avenue, Pastoria Avenue, Florence Street and the southbound Mathilda Avenue loop ramp.
