That the City Council, by resolution, accept the project as satisfactorily completed.

The Contractor, Bruns Belmont Construction, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the Sunnyvale Public Safety Headquarters, Phase I – South Addition Lockers and Expansion project, within the allocated budget and for the final contract amount of $182,990.00.

The work included the addition of a new 550 square foot locker room facility on the south side of the existing Public Safety Headquarters building. Also included was demolition, construction of foundations, framing, lighting, HVAC, interior and exterior finishes, roofing, 113 lockers, paint, electrical and landscape restoration work.

The work was done (as Phase I of the Public Safety Headquarters expansion project) to accelerate the female locker facility addition portion. Phase II involves the addition of approximately 3500 square feet of open office space on the north side of the existing building.

The project was inspected by the Public Works Administration Section and found to be satisfactory. Acceptance is, therefore, recommended.
